Why do i want to write my story? Is it left or right brain? Both? Does that concept even apply?
I have gotten great satisfaction from this imprinting of words in the past. The Weekly Journal, a newspaper when I was 5, describing the events in the (fictitious?) land of Cookieville; Easy Doggy, of course, my first "success". Sally Puss poems cryptically appearing in the Flint Journal. Letters to Buff- more and more and more, chronicles of desperation, confusion and innocence. Humorous, fantastic Xmas recaps. And lately, the ever growing Facebook posts, my Thor89 (sp?) bon mots, getting just the right verbiage to stroke and entertain the unwashed, ungrammatically enlightened masses.

This is the springtime of my loving - the second season I am to know | For this Rainy Day, a Song: Led Zep was one of the most important bands during my formative years. They get credit for their early heavy metal/blues work, but more lasting I think is what emerged with the Houses of the Holy album. Kinda like how the Beatles eventually got beyond "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". One of the most beautiful pieces is this one... |
